NETFILE is Currently Down: CRA Reports

The CRA has reported that their NETFILE service is down, along with their My Account functionality.

The CRA has been working on the fix since very early this morning, and have kept the public fairly well informed on social media.

Thankfully today is the 25th of March and not the 25th of April, so it shouldn’t pose a significant problem for the CRA provided they can plug the system back in and get it running fast.

I was thinking about posting an update earlier this morning, but figured it wasn’t a huge story, but then my mobile phone shot to life with a text from my 14-year-old son, which read, “Dad! The CRA site is down”.

So with that, the CRA site is presently down. Please be patient as it will soon be back up.
